Winter of Reading has started!

Take part in Winter of Reading, Denver Public Library’s annual reading challenge for adults. Designed to meet you wherever you are in your reading life, Winter of Reading invites you to explore books, audiobooks, films, and library services while reconnecting with reading for joy.

This year’s game board features 24 flexible activities, including new prompts created to help adults build or rebuild a reading habit through small, approachable steps. Whether you read every day or are just getting back into it, there’s an easy place to begin.

Pick up a game board at any Denver Public Library location or download the PDF online. Complete five activities in a row to earn a limited-edition mug or pint glass while supplies last. Winter of Reading runs throughout January and February and is open to anyone 17 and older. Materials are available in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Arabic.
